WELLINGTON

This oversized apartment in Bondi was in a tired state after being leased out for almost two decades. The brief was to revitalise the entire space for the owners to live in themselves, with a strong focus on keeping the budget to a minimum, emphasizing natural light, and selecting durable, hard-wearing finishes to provide the option for them to rent out again in the future without concern.

The overall layout was highly functional so no major structural changes were required. The palette was kept neutral to provide a flexible backdrop for all future residents, and bold accents created through contrasting dark & light joinery.
